Rs 25k cr plan to cut Chinese chemical imports

With the aim to reduce dependence on China for import of chemicals, the govt is planning a production linked incentive scheme to boost local manufacturing of some of the key chemicals used in pharmaceuticals, insecticides and other critical industrial usages. The scheme will have an outlay of Rs 25,000 crore over the next five years.

England, Australia players arriving from UK will undergo 36-hour quarantine

The IPL franchises will be heaving a sigh of relief as all 21 Australian & English players arriving to the UAE from the UK will have to undergo just 36 hours of quarantine instead of the earlier prescribed 6 days. “The quarantine matter has been sorted. Pak reports 665 new cases of coronavirus: Health ministry

Pakistan has reported 665 new cases of coronavirus, taking the total number of infections in the nation to 303,089, the health ministry said on Wednesday. The Ministry of National Health Services said that four more people succumbed to the disease due to which the current toll stands at 6,393.
